Japanese retirement homes have been using these robots for several years, but only now Australian scientists have summed up a large-scale study. They found out that after five weeks of communication with Paro patients with middle and late stage dementia showed decrease of anxiety , apathy and depression levels. After a longer communication the quality of aged people’s life improved significantly!
