For many years scientists have been trying to understand how sea turtles who travel hundreds of miles across the seas and oceans each time find their own beach for reproduction. Finally they've solved this mystery of nature: the secret is the Earth's magnetic field. It is seen the reptiles. They memorize the configuration of the magnetic field on the beach, where they were born, and then they return there to bring offspring.

However, periodically place of birth shifts. But the theory of the magnetic field is be able to explain it too. Fluctuations periodically occur in the lines of the magnetic field, and the most favorable place for laying eggs can move. Turtles have to look for a similar magnetic «snapshots» beach if that their beach was irretrievably lost as a result of flooding or human activity. Experiments with loggerhead sea turtles who live on the coast of the US state of Florida, confirmed all the findings of scientists.
