Sacred Fish Killed by Love

Rewalsar wetland in India is a national sacred place. Lately the ecosystem has been doing worse. The reason is special love of the piligrims who bring food for the fish of the water system. Of course, the fish can's manage to eat all the food. Food residue rot, decay and lead to the growth of algae and siltation. The fish is getting less oxygen and die.

Last year dead fish was found in Rewalsar. But this year there were hundreds and thousands of dead fish! Local authoruties are preparing a decree against fish feeding. However, monks of the Rewalsar monastery have their doubts about the decree efficiency as fish feeding is an old tradition and piligrims could be hardly stopped by prohibitions.
