River Terek Returned to Peaceful Course

Last week the Dariali Gorge in Georgia, Caucasia, was shocked by a landslide which jammed the river and blocked the Georgian Military road. Road department brigades which arrived at the place of the accident couldn't start cleaning the road because the it was flooded. However, the workers managed to change Terek course and start cleaning the landslide area. Now the work in the disaster epicentre continues.

Geologists are making assumptions about the causes of the landslide. The major factors assumably are global warming and heavy rains in the region.
