В Каспийском море погибли 35 молодых тюленейMass death of 35 Caspian seals in March is still a mystery for ecologists. They believe that general pollution did not cause it, as it was previously stated. Analysis of water did not reveal any deviation from ecological standards.

Specialists continue observing coastlines of the Caspian Sea, however, new seal casualties have not been detected. Three bodies of dead seals found on March 25 have already been sent to veterinarian laboratory to determine the reason of death. While the research is still being held, vets suppose that the seals died of bacteriological or parasitic contamination.
