The island doesn't have an official name yet, but visitors nicknamed it "Shelly", because it is full of shells. The popularity of the island is seriously disturbing the local service for the public beaches supervision. The fact is that tourists get to the formed strip of land in shallow water, on foot. And there are many sharp hooks at the bottom, because these places are traditionally preferred for fishing. In addition, other hazards may exist for people in the water: sharks and stingrays. But no warnings can stop tourists who wish to visit the island.

By its birth, the Shelly Island is indebted to sea currents and storms. Experts say that it can also suddenly disappear or become part of the cape.
