New Fish Species to be Called in Honor of President Obama

Recently Obama born in Hawaii, decided to increase the area of Papahanaumokuakea. As a result, this marine protected area has become the largest one in the world. It is home for millions of birds, fish and animals that cannot be found in any other place on the planet. Monk seals live here, and they are on the verge of extinction.

Pink-orange colored fish, which will bear the name of the President, is endemic to the reserve. They were found at a depth of 90 meters near Kure Atoll. Scientists have confirmed that this species was not previously known to them. Barack Obama has been already announced that he will have the namesake in the ocean. The US President noted that the fish is very cute.
