68-year-old diver, who single-handedly explored the sunken cruise ship off the coast of Australia, was taken over 50 kilometers from the place of immersion. Rescuers found him with the help of helicopter and airplane. The man was hospitalized with severe hypothermia. In total he spent about 14 hours in the water.

The emergency services were told by his friend that the diver is not in contact. As it turned out, that the diver did not include a personal beacon that has considerably complicated searches.
