A record huge edible crab was caught by fishermen in the English city of Portsmouth. The beauty weighs four kilograms, and the span of his claw is 55 cm. He was caught for eating, of course, but the fishermen spared the poor fellow: it took so much time for him to grow to such a size. That is why it was decided to admit the crab to the aquarium in Portsmouth, where he was gladly accepted "on education."Now they've been seeking for an appropriate aquarium for the giant crab and he has been already given a name - Monster.

The aquarium reports that this is not the largest pocket crab. There were larger individuals in the waters of Portsmouth. However, such large animals has been never seen live by any of the aquarium staff. They especially delighted with the crab's claws, which are a size of adult male fist. Crab needs huge claws by a special reason: he crushes his prey them under his stomach using the claws and presses it before eating.
