The famous National Geographic magazine summed up the contest "The best wildlife photographer 2016". The winner is the Frenchman Greg Loecker, who managed to capture the joint hunting of birds and mammals in the sea.
Also Loecker was recognized as the best in the Action category. The photo was made off the Africa coast. The hunt for sardines was started by the dolphins, which typically use their own special techniques, working in a group. After then the fish was attacked by the gannets. These birds are waiting for the right moment and then literally dig into the water, falling headlong from a height of 30-40 meters with the speed up to 80 km/h. You can see other winning photos here.
