The wreck was docked to the ISS on February 24, 2017. It successfully completed its mission. Unmanned space vehicles Progress are used to supply the orbital stations and waste disposal.

"Spaceship graveyard" is about 4 000 km from the town of Wellington (New Zealand). The depth of the Pacific Ocean is 4 km away. According to the Federal Space Agency experts, the served space ships' flooding does not damage the environment. The main argument is that most of the garbage is burned without reaching the water surface.
