After studying the wolf population living on the coast of British Columbia in Canada, biologists found that they eat mainly salmon, barnacles, herring roe, as well as the hunt for seals.

To learn animal food preferences, during 10 years scientists had been investigating 7000 samples of excrements. Lifestyle of these predators is inextricably connected with the ocean. As it turned out, «atypical» wolves can swim for long distances - up to 13 kilometers, moving between the mainland and the islands. These flocks are found only in British Columbia and southeast Alaska.
