38 People Died of Rain in Colombia

The rainy season in this South American country extends from September to December. Two months after it has started the main Colombian edition «Terra» summed up his preliminary results which were very disappointing. During this time, the country recorded 113 storms, 88 floods, 50 landslides and 29 landslides caused by rains. Also national risk management service (Colombian MOE analogue) reported 38 fatalities including 12 miners who were flooded in the mine in the district of Antioquia. According to statements of the Colombian Institute of Meteorology, the rains will go until the end of November, and then the dry season will start.
